Chocolate Oat Smoothie And Chia Pudding Breakfast Bowls

Breakfast bowls to whip up on those days when you don't want to choose. A super delicious combo of decadent chocolate oat smothie and creamy coconut chia pudding. Perfect to share with someone you love on a lazy weekend morning. Or you can have both yourself - one for breakfast and the second one for lunch ;)




Coconut chia pudding:

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut milk (choose between light or full fat or a mix of both)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup


Chocolate oat smoothie:

  • 1/2 cup oats soaked in 1/2 cup warm water for about 15-20 minutes (all the liquid gets absorbed)
  • 2 medjool dates, chopped
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (choose your favourite)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup plant milk (depending on the consistency you like, start by adding 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of Himalayan salt



  1. Prepare chia pudding. Mix all the chia pudding ingredients in a bowl or jar. Whisk until well combined, set aside and whisk again after few minutes to avoid lumps. Place in the fridge for 25-30 minutes (or longer) to soak.
  2. Place all the smoothie ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer chia pudding and smoothie to the bowls. Top with fresh fruits, chocolate chunks or different toppings of choice. Serve and enjoy!
