Creamy chocolate tahini oatmeal


One of my all time favourites. If you are a tahini lover, like I am, you probably already know what I mean. If you're not sure if you love tahini or hate it, just give this recipe a try - the combination of raw cacao and sesame butter is really something that brings your oatmeal to the next level. If you try it and you still think you don't love tahini, oh well - in that case replace it with your favourite nut butter and it will taste amazing too. 




  • 1/2 cup porridge oats
  • 2 dates, chopped (or 1 tbsp maple syrup)
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 3/4 cup plant milk
  • 1 tbsp white tahini
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • pinch od good quality salt



  1.  In a small pan cover the oats and chopped dates with hot water. Let soak for 5-10 minutes (all the liquid will get absorbed).
  2. Add all the reamining ingredients and mix well. Turn on the heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and let simmer for few minutes or until desired consistency.
  4. Top with berries, dark chocolate chunks and coconut flakes.
